YES. And here’s the context…
Once you accept the hard truth – that after the:
- sucking it up
- holding it together
- putting others first
- doing what’s expected
- making embarrassing mistakes &
- failed relationships
… you are in fact the one that will save you. You are the #cyclebreaker. You are the lineage healer. It’s a big ask, I know.
You have:
- aging parents that “need” you
- needs for connection in personal relationship or partnership
- children that are harder to parent than what you had hoped for or expected
- changes to your body, healthy, & energy
- work or other responsibilities that “pile on”
The Good News
I wish we had the information & resources that are available to us NOW when we were growing up. It could’ve been different. I really get it.
And yet…
You are not alone.
You have found support. There is a path. I wish we had found the path sooner AND let’s not allow overwhelm about the past prevent movement in the present & for our future.
I’m here to tell you it’s worth it. I’m doing it. I’ve seen others do it. It is possible.
My Path Included…
I’ve been seeking & building my own path of recovery & I want to help you build yours!
Mine started with my education in mental health & then investment in professional training that spoke to ALL of me – my wounds & hurt, my coping mechanisms, & my longing for deeper connection & vitality.
Some of my favorite tools have been:
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) or “parts work”
- Somatic modalities
- Polyvagal + Nervous System Education & Regulation
- EMDR
- Psychedelic Assisted Journeys
- Music
- Breathwork
Where Am I On This Journey?
This past year I completed two 10 month coaching containers, The 5 Circuits of Healing Power & Devoted the Embodiment Academy, to deepen the recovery & healing work I was already doing.
I bring what I learned in those coaching containers to each of my client sessions & offerings. The financial & time investment I made in those programs is truly a gift for me, for you, & the collective.
While I cognitively knew I needed a practice & process to stay with healing outside of the therapy office, this year I finally leaned into daily practices that allowed me to #connectinside & move the energy of emotions.
I know now that these practices result in a potent code of wisdom that is medicine for your mind, heart, body, & spirit. That’s what I want for me, for you, for us.
With the passing of this year, I am another year further from what I call my “traumatizing 40’s” & I am looking forward to new opportunities & possibilities as I prepare to enter my 50’s in May.
And to be real, a necessary part of #cptsd recovery is “clean up” – all the things that were avoided while at lower capacity, in survival mode, or when busy healing. It’s not fun TBH.
I get the “juggle” of healing is also very real.
Many survivors experience:
- straddling timelines – holding & meeting consequences from the past
- while adulting in the present
- taking aligned steps towards their “other side life”
- all while they may be the only person in their ecosystem (family, community, or business) that is doing the work.
I find it validating that my #humandesign is a #manifestinggeneratior. MGs spend the first 2/3 of our life making mistakes that grant us hard-earned wisdom. The last third is when we share our wisdom with others.
As I clean up & complete unfinished business, I look forward to having more energy & time to share more of me – my journey, challenges, wins, & wisdom – with you. And as I end my 40s & begin my 50s, I am glad to have done the bulk of the healing from CPTSD & look forward to my “take 2” life.
So yes, it can get better. Yes it requires time, energy, & money. You & your loved ones are worth it.
